PAINTED TILE INSTALLATION NGT Glass Tiles Installation Instructions and Limited Warranty for Painted Glass Tile Recommended Adhesive: The recommended adhesive is Premium Plus thin-set mortar from Custom Building Products. This is mixed exclusively with Custom Building Product's Custom Flex, Ultra-Strength thin-set additive. DO NOT MIX WITH WATER. An un-sanded grout is recommended when possible; so as to not scratch the glass. A small grout joint is recommended to accommodate any possible expansion of the glass. Also, a crack suppression membrane must be first installed under any field tiles. Cutting the Tiles: The painted glass tiles can be cut with a wet-saw, but very slowly with the front side facing up. If time permits, the cut edges can be sealed with GE SC2800 silicone. The recommended cutting blade is a continuous rim blade from the MK diamond Co. at (800) 421-5830. Do not use a serrated blade, as that might chip the glass. If any glass chipping occurs during cutting, stop immediately and call your sales representative. Try to minimize contact with water during cutting and all times before installation. Failure to follow these instructions will negate any product warranties. Limited Warranty: Our tiles are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from material defects for a period of two years after purchase. If any tile is found to be materially defective during the first two years after purchase, NGT will replace the tile at no cost to the purchaser, provided that the above installation instruction have been followed. Replacement of (a) defective tile(s) under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the purchaser. NGT shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from tile defects, notwithstanding the fact that it may have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Except as expressly set forth herein, NGT grants no other warranties, express or implied, regarding the tiles, and specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. These tiles are not recommended for use in wet areas. There is no warranty when used in showers, hot tubs, swimming pools or steam rooms.
